What is the LSI?

The Life Styles Inventory® (LSI) is our most widely used individual development tool for leaders and professionals. It combines self-assessment and 360° feedback to reveal how your thinking and behaviour impact your effectiveness both as you see yourself, and as others experience you. Backed by decades of research and used by thousands of organisations, the LSI is academically rigorous and proven in the real world to help leaders grow, improve performance, and achieve better results.

The LSI brings together two perspectives. LSI 1 captures how an individual sees their own thinking styles, effectiveness, and satisfaction at work and home. LSI 2 gathers feedback from peers, managers, and or direct reports, revealing confirmed strengths, blind spots, and gaps between intention and impact. Results are delivered in a confidential report and explored with a Human Synergistics consultant or accredited practitioner. This guided conversation turns insight into practical strategies for changing thinking and behaviour. The surveys are available online across most devices, with hard copy options also available.
